Thank you to the Delco Times for this great piece about Career Wardrobe:
LANSDOWNE — Few places are more important for dressing appropriately than the workplace, where a professional appearance is often critical to a person’s success.
Last week, I attended a “Runway to Victory” event at the Delaware County Bar Association. Attendees were asked to donate a piece of professional clothing to Career Wardrobe as the “admission price.” Hosted by Delco Press Club president Tracy Price, the wine and cheese event featured a fashion show, networking and inspirational speakers that included LeTonya Wilson of Career Wardrobe. Wilson talked about the new Career Wardrobe resale shop that opened up in Lansdowne a few months ago.
The Wardrobe Resale store – the first in Delaware County – offers free professional clothing for those in need. The store accepts referrals from 100 partner organizations to make shopping free-of-charge for those in transition, to employment, adulthood, or independence after trauma, abuse, or incarceration.
