Career Wardrobe’s WORK IT Networking & Linked-In Instruction to Help Job Seekers Transition to Work

 

(PHILADELPHIA/DELAWARE COUNTY) – Career Wardrobe presents Work It, a series of professional development events dedicated to helping job seekers create the best professional image regardless of their income or budget.

The June Work It events will focus on networking in person and online.  Participants will receive a professional headshot along with instruction on how to network effectively during their job search, including optimizing their LinkedIn profiles

Both events are free and open to the public, but registration is required.  Interested job seekers can register by emailing program@careerwardrobe.org.  If selected, participants will receive a confirmation via email the Monday prior to each event.

Work It events for June:

  • Career Wardrobe in Delaware County
    160 East 7th Street, 1st Floor, Chester, PA
    Wednesday, June 19, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Guest Speaker will be Entrepreneur and Community Leader, Kim Wright 
Corporate Volunteers from Citizens Bank will offer LinkedIn assistance.

  • Career Wardrobe in Philadelphia
    1822 Spring Garden St., Philadelphia, PA
    Wednesday, June 26, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Guest Speaker will be Networking Expert Jennifer Robinson of Purposeful Networking
Corporate Volunteers from Attolon Partners LLC, a Philadelphia-based Executive Search Firm, will offer LinkedIn assistance.

Philadelphia Inquirer Staff Photographers and AMC Photography Studios  will be on hand at both events to take professional head shots for clients to use on their LinkedIn profiles.
