Annual Recognizing Hope Event Honors Career Wardrobe’s Client Accomplishments & Volunteer Contributions

Career Wardrobe honors the success of its clients transitioning to the workforce along with its dedicated team of volunteers at Recognizing Hope, Sat., Dec. 8 from 10 a.m. – noon at Career Wardrobe, 1822 Spring Garden St.

Sponsored by Accenture, Career Wardrobe honors eleven individuals on the path to successful work transitions along with special recognition for the volunteers who have managed monthly clothing drives and served as personal shoppers for clients in Philadelphia, Delaware, and Bucks Counties.

Speaker Tina Beaumont, Managing Director with Accenture Management Consulting, will offer encouragement and advice from her own career experiences leading the company’s Northeast Finance and Enterprise Performance Management practice.

Recognizing Hope honorees include a former client who recently received both the JEVS Strictly Business Award and Harambe Social Services Phoenix Award; a nurse aide who fielded three offers from employers after visiting Career Wardrobe; and two former clients who are now thriving in full time tech professions.

Sheri Cole, executive director of Career Wardrobe, says the organization believes it’s important during the holiday season to also give back to the people who make Career Wardrobe successful.
