PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A major fundraising challenge is being undertaken by Career Wardrobe in Philadelphia and if the agency wins the challenge, it could receive a grant of $150,000.

It’s called the Job Raising Challenge and its being sponsored by the Huffington Post (watch video).

Career Wardrobe’s Heather Bennett says 74 agencies nationwide are in competition.

“Each organization is challenged to raise as much money as we can, we’ve all been chosen because we are organizations helping people getting back into the workforce. And they wanted to highlight agencies that were actually making a difference,” says Bennett.

Career Wardrobe has set a goal of $75,000 which it hopes to raise before March first.

Bennett says the minimum donation is $10.

If the agency wins the challenge, it hopes to open another Wardrobe Boutique in another community in Philadelphia. The current location is at 19th and Spring Garden.
