HELPSY now offers free, convenient pickups of gently used clothing from Wardrobe supporters living in Bucks, Chester, and Montgomery Counties. Items picked up from Wardrobe supporters will be recycled and reused, benefitting The Wardrobe’s free clothing program for people experiencing clothing insecurity.
All types of gently used clothing are acceptable.

Frequently Asked Questions
Helpsy Home Pick-Ups are available for residents in Bucks, Chester, and Montgomery Counties. To find out (or schedule!) a Helpsy pick up at your address, please click here.
Helpsy drivers make home pickups between 7am and 5pm. You can select the date using the link above.
After selecting a day, have your clothes by your front door in clearly labeled plastic bags. In order to help minimize emissions impact, please only request a pickup when you have 3 or more bags.
What can I donate?
Helpsy will only accept clothing, other textiles, and shoes.

Please do not donate books, household items, furniture, mattresses, decor, and kitchen items.

Most organizations need financial support to help meet their objectives, and Helpsy offers a way for clothing that is collected to be turned into this monetary support instead of a mountain of clothes that can’t be processed.

What is Helpsy? What do they do?
The Wardrobe is partnered with Helpsy, a for-profit B Corp with an environmental mission to radically change the way people think about clothing recycling. Helpsy helps us upcycle the clothing that we cannot use (items with holes or stains or items that are out of season). Through our partnership with Helpsy, we upcycle about 200,000+ pounds of clothing each year! All upcycled clothing we provide to Helpsy goes directly toward funding our mission of eliminating clothing insecurity and fashion waste.
