The Wardrobe needs more than professional clothing to help outfit people for work and everyday life.  We accept donations of clothing, accessories, and footwear for all genders to make them look and feel great. Because we are also a resale store, we accept anything you have to donate whether it be casual, professional, dressy, or comfort attire. A complete graphic of everything we accept is below.

We accept all clothing in all conditions, but please be sure everything is freshly cleaned or laundered. We ask that donations be packaged in some way (i.e. bags, boxes) and are removed from hangers and dry cleaning bags. Makeup or other personal care items (skincare, toiletries, undergarments) are accepted, but must be new and unused.

Are you a retailer with overstock or end of season items? We’d love to take clothing, accessories, or personal care items off your hands. Contact us to discuss your donation.

New! We are now accepting donations at The Philadelphia Wardrobe on behalf of Broad Street Love during regular donation hours. Please review the full guidelines below under the “Broad Street Love Partnership” tab.

Can’t get to us during our donation hours?  Fill a box and ship your donations to The Wardrobe, 444 N. 3rd St. Suite 105, Philadelphia, PA 19123.

• Larger Donations: Please make an appointment for a time to drop off your donations if it is more than a carload.
• Please note that if you are moving or have an estate that you need to donate, The Wardrobe is likely not the best fit for your donation. Large donations that are clustered around 1-2 sizes are hard for us to use and will likely be donated to other organizations.

• Corporate Drives, Community Events or Retail Donations: Large drives or retail donations that bring in a range of sizes, styles, and clothing for all genders are perfect for filling our Wardrobe.

As of Spring 2026, we are accepting donations at all Wardrobe locations on behalf of Broad Street Love during our regular donation hours: Monday–Saturday, 11 AM–6 PM. Please label all donations “Broad Street Love.” Donations will be processed at Wardrobe locations and then transported as needed to the Wardrobe at Broad Street Love, where they will be used to outfit guests.

We are currently seeking the following items for this partnership (all genders and adult sizes):

• Casual attire
• Basics & athletic wear
• Seasonal attire
• Outerwear
• Footwear
• Accessories
• New, unused underwear and socks

While we accept clothing in all conditions, we kindly ask that all items be freshly cleaned or laundered. Please package donations in bags or boxes and remove any hangers or dry cleaning bags. Undergarments must be new and unused.

Tax-receipts are available in-store and online for these donations.
